The Ultimate Pickleball Paddle - Sandstone Pickleball
The Ultimate Pickleball Paddle - Sandstone Pickleball
I'm Anne Rollo, a golf professional — and like a lot of you, I got hooked on pickleball. When I started playing, I noticed there were quite a lot of paddles on the market, but I didn't really know which was which, what they all did, or which was the best one. The ones that seemed to have everything were about $400, so I wasn't sure which to get. I wanted a quality paddle with all the features that wasn't too expensive, so I did a deep dive and tried a lot of paddles. The result is the Sandstone.
Why I made it
I found that no one paddle had everything — or if it did, it was about $400. So I decided to come up with the perfect pickleball paddle. Trying a lot of paddles, I discovered it needs a certain thickness, a certain level of grit on the face, and a certain core structure that gives you stability, control and durability. It needed a good handle length, especially if you like a double-handed backhand, and it needed to be lightweight.
The name
I called it the Sandstone — a nod to Australia, and also a nod to the surface grip, which gives you the spin and control you need.
What it's made of
- T700 carbon fibre surface
- 16mm thickness — to give you lots of durability and power.
- PP honeycomb core — which gives you stability, control and durability.
Who it's for
If you're looking for the ultimate pickleball paddle that won't break the bank and will suit any level of play, here it is.
